The main advantage that makes Maspro security camera unique is the optimized function of digital zoom- a smooth special algorithm that detects moving objects in the frame and keeps tracking their movements. The role of the ‘’objects’’ can take pets, children or elderly, in other words, those to whom you need to watch over. In case there are more than one objects appearing in the view of the frame, the software allows you to switch between them pressing «Change Subject».

In addition to motion, the system can also monitor noise level and room temperature. The corresponding graphs are stored for up to 24 hours. Users can also be notified instantly of any hazards by specifying areas or values which will indicate danger. Which means, for example, users can set the system to notify them by email if there has been no movement at all for three hours.
The approximate price of this home surveillance camera from Maspro is expected to be 450 U.S. dollars.

Rotundus GroundBot: Mobile Surveillance Robot From The Future

A Sweden company Rotundus is the author of the GroundBot robot, whichGroundBot Mobile Surveillance Robot from the first look may be very similar to  the main character of an East Slavic national fairy tale- Kolobok. In reality this is a very sophisticated robot-guard which is designed to observe considerable territories. Unlike any other mobile robots on the market - GroundBot was originally designed to explore other planets. In other words, the nearest helping hand would have been millions of miles away thanks to its high speed working engine(10km/h).
The developers have made also their offspring to be waterproof and with large passability features. GroundBot is moving through the center of gravity in a certain direction. The device can move both on the snow, the sand and the dirt road: it is even able to swim. There is only one NO for Rotundus mobile surveillance device, if  it falls in the mud, its camera becomes "blinded", despite its good permeability.
Thanks to its GPS-module the robot-guard can also move in the space. The guard is adopted to work not just in an offline mode, but also provided with manual control. The batteries of this high-tech guard are very capacious, and power consumption has been reduced by several times. As a result of it, a single charge provides up to 18 hours of continuous operation (just working, not a stand-by mode). The robot comes with two in-built video cameras for capturing larger images.
In conclusion this is a very perfect device for surveillance. Just a little weapon  in the ‘’hands’’ and it could place to a real guard, although developers still have chances to make changes to their modern offspring.
