Many people ask me whether they should have their cameras hidden or clearly on display. My answer is both.  By keeping it in obvious places you will be able to hopefully deter criminal activity as people realize they can get caught, however by hiding the cameras they are less likely to be tampered with and you are more likely to appoint unwanted activities in action which can be useful for a court case theoretically.
